Application server

Application server is the server that been developed to provide networking facilities to people so that the network can be distributed among different department. For this each of the department needs to be interlinked with each other so that the business unit can be successful. The application server consists of different parts but the major part that played an important role is the graphical user interface, the database server along with the transaction servers and the third component of the application server is the business logic unit which is responsible for performing different functions. The first component of application is the user interface which is concerned with working on the web browsers with the help of the computers. The second part is the business logic unit that performs the function of different applications with the help of the local area network.

The application needs to be carried out on the internet and each and everything that takes place is done within a particular company.  The graphical user interface can also be known as the front end service but the most important role is being played by the business logic application as it connects the front ends with the back ends where the data base and certain transactions are being recorded.  Moreover the business logic applications can also be referred to as the application server which serves as the intermediary between the first and back end parts of the server.

Different types of application server can be found and the application server that is sued to run the applications on the web is the web application server and the web server Is mainly responsible for the working of the application server as all the request that had been received through the web by the server needs to be transferred to the application server.
