Bitmap image
Bitmap image is referred to as the collection of pixels. The collection of pixels must be used to represent the grid. It is also referred to as the graphical representation of the pixels for a particular image. The pixels are the collection of the elements in a picture which are basically composed of very small dots. The combination of small dots makes a picture. The pictures can be found in different colors and in the colored picture, the collection of tiny dots known as pixels are used in a greater way. The bitmap images are also displayed on the monitor on the screen and each and everything that the person sees is composed on certain amount of bitmap images.
On the other hand if the image that contains the pixels in it, is zoomed in then the image is distorted. Different types of bitmap images can also be found. Each type of bitmap image is used to perform certain functions. The first type of bitmap image is the grayscale images, line art, full color images and the multi tone images. The grayscale bitmap image is used to identify the pictures that exist in grey color and even in it the combination of black and white can also be seen.
Moreover if the bitmap image had been designed in multi tone then different sort of colors had been allotted to the construction of the bitmap image. The line art bitmap image is used to identify the images that are only in black and white colors. Even the pictures on the television also contain bitmap images. In full color images, the image is provided with all the colors and each and everything can be easily seen in the image. The construction of the bitmap images is quite difficult as it uses a lot of time of the people.
