Cable network and DSL

Cable network is the network which is provided by the cable operators on their own where as the DSL services are provided by some renowned companies. The person had to use the cable network quite carefully as all the things which had been attached with it needs to be dealt with greater care and at the same time the user had to plug in certain cables too. The same procedure also applies for the DSL service. But it had been found out that the speed of eth DSL service is quite faster as compared to the other cable networks.

The modem of both the cable and the DSL network contains the Ethernet wire, LAN port and the internet cable that needs to be plugged in to the computer. The data transfer frequency in the cable modem is quite low as the internet speed is not up to the desired extent. Both the internet are working on the broadband level and at time people have to face some sort of problems too with its working but the problems are aroused on alternate days. The cable network modems can’t be used without any telephonic service because the internet connection takes place through the main telephone wire. On the other hand the Broadband internet access is of similar type and the DSL network also takes place on similar grounds too. Different packages along with the services had been provided to people and at time it could be purchased by the people at any time of the day. The DSL service is more convenient for people as it is easy to be used and is of minimum charges.

Furthermore both the cable modem and the DSL routers are available at different speed and hence the cable operators charge the fee according to the speed that is being provided by the router.
