CAT 5 cable

The CAT 5 cable is the cable which had been designed for the networking purpose but the cable is mainly used for the Ethernet purpose and its networking among the other computers. This cable is based on the technological aspects of Ethernet and is found to be the cable which had been evolved on the 5th generational number of the Ethernet cables. The cable had been designed in a twisted pair form which is to be connected to the computer. It had been found out that CAT 5 cable had been very popularly used among many people.

The cable contains copper wires in it which makes it secure from the happening of any sort of accident. The cable tends to contain about 4 different pairs of wire in it and all the pairs are of copper. The cable is found to be used for a longer time period but particularly the cable is only available in about 100 meters. This length of the cable can be used by the person as it’s the normal availability of the cable.

The Ethernet connection is sued on a higher speed with the presence of the CAT 5 cable having four pairs of different cable but it had been found out that the fast internet connections are usually using the two pair Ethernet cable. Some of the specification of this cable had been changed and the new form of this cable had been invented which is known as the CAT 5e cable.
