Difference between uploading and downloading
Uploading is the process of sending some data and information to some other network whereas downloading means to receive some amount of information from a specific source. Uploading is carried out on different locations such as uploading of certain files, documents, images etc. both the process consumes some certain amount of time but the major proportion of time is being consumed by the downloading portion.
Downloading of a certain item is dependent upon the internet connection speed as both the things had to be done through it. Uploading is basically the sending of the signals from one system to the other system and this activity is carried out from a longer time period. Moreover it must be ensured that the data that is received by the other party must also have some sort of information and hence the storage of data must also take place.
Downloading is basically carried out for the same purpose but mostly people use downloading for the audio, videos, software’s and others. Downloading of certain types of files and folders is not much possible as most of the information is available online and hence does not need to be stored at all. The downloading of a specific item is done in order to utilize the specific item for a longer time period and hence the benefit can also be achieved through it. Some of the online file hosting services is also providing, this takes place in a situation when the data is transferred from one specific remote system to the other remote system without any delay in work.
However the downloading of the specific item takes place on the hard drive whereas in uploading the item from the hard drive is attached to some specific webpage and then it is sent to the other network.
