Many different types of software’s exist and each of them is used to perform certain functions. The major type of software that is being used by people is the application, programming, utility, inventory, system and much other software. The application software is the one which is used for the purpose of managing the entire database that is contained on the portfolio of the firm and secondly it can only be used by the business venture where different sort of data needs to be managed. The programming software is the one which is used for the computers. This is helpful for those people who tend to perform and write different computer programs so that all the problems that had been seen in running and testing of the program can be resolved.

The utility software is responsible for the purpose of managing all the operational activities which are found to be helpful for a company. Moreover it is used to perform activities that are carried out on a smaller scale so that the track of all activities can be kept. This type of software is also known as the routine software which is used for the purpose of performing activities on routine basis.

Another type of software I the data backup and recovery software which is used for the purpose of performing the function of backing up all the files and folders of the computer, this somehow protects the system of the computer. This is used for the purpose of copying all the data that is present on the computer and thus had made the lives of people quite easy. This is an ideal way of protecting the computer from being losing all the documents contained in the computer. The inventory software is used for the purpose of storing and keeping the records of the increase or decrease in the inventory.
