Dongle

Dongle is a type of tool which is sued for the purpose of authenticating that only the specified people can use the software or thus can copy the data.  These software applications are being used by the authorized people and these programs are at time found to be quite expensive as the copy of the applications or data can cost the person too much. Dongle is mainly used by those organizations which are larger in size. Dongle is not only responsible for the act of software’s but it can also be used with the hardware’s as well.

Dongle in fact had been designed in the form of the mechanism which is used to perform different functions and mainly dongle is used in the hardware form in such a way when the hardware key is being used with the port of the computer and after that the code that had been entered is being verified by different software’s. After that the application is run and tested to ensure that it can be easily run and continued further without creating any sort of problems.

Mostly it had been found out that dongles are used as a two interface service which had been designed din the form of the token which can be carried by the person anywhere and any one can utilize it. Dongle is responsible for functioning on its own and thus it cannot be worked with a collaboration of dongle and if it is done then it won’t be able to perform in a better way.At times dongle is the device which is used for the purpose of connecting the hardware component of the computer to the laptop or some other device.  Different types of dongles can also be used and they had been used when multiple dongles are made available to the people.
