DSL modem

DSL modem is the digital subscriber modem which is attached to the computer so that the internet can work. The DSL modem works as a router which makes it quite easy for the people to transfer the data or even have an access to different web sites at a time. The DSL modem is connected to the computer and works as a router where the telephonic line system needs to be attached too and even its working would ensure that the system is being working properly and the user can do anything on through it.

The DSL modem can also be referred to as the transceiver which is responsible for providing the signal strength to the computer so that the internet can work at a greater speed. It had been found out that in some countries different DSL modems are being used. Some of the counties are providing people with the DSL modem being used in the form of router which can be carried anywhere as it s portable in nature and even some of them are also used as a residential gateway too. On the other hand it had been found out that framing is one of the most beneficial things that is being used with the DSL modems or routers. 
Sometimes the DSL modems are also used as a bridge network connection too which makes it easy for the other person to get connected to the network.

Moreover the bridging of the network does not need the IP address. Some of the DSL modems are found to be used with the computer on external basis which means that the connection needs to be made and hence a wire is also needed for it connection with the Ethernet. The transfer rate of the DSL modems is quite faster as compared to other devices.
