Encryption

Encryption is the process of arranging and allocating different codes to the data which is mainly understood by the specialized and knowledgeable people. Encryption had been used among people from a longer time period and now a day it is getting very much popular as it sometimes makes it easy for people to encrypt different types of files. It is used by different individuals and organizations. Privacy is the important factor, which is ensured by encryption.  It ensures that no one can reach to the personal data of the person without the acceptance of the right password.

Encryption can also take place in the form of disks or software’s as different software are available for encryption purpose. The database and folder encryption is also one of its forms which helps in keeping the entire database encrypted at one place and in a single folder so that difficulties in its usage can be avoided. The available encryption software allows the encrypted data to be sent to other networks by placing the entire data in the form of files and folders.  The encryption can also take place in the form of a symmetric and public key encryption.  Apart from this a person can reach the process of encryption through the transposition and the substitution techniques. In either of the techniques, the element which is to be encrypted is either rearranged or replaced respectively.

In the past encryption was used in algorithms and at the same time it was also used for communication purpose. But now its usage can also be seen among wireless communication networks too. Apart from communication encryption can also be seen to be used among the dealings taking place on online basis among the credit card people.  Furthermore the confidentiality and the protection of the entire data is also ensured.
