ETL

ETL is a data function which is used for the extractions, transforming and the loading of information. It in fact is the combination of all three together which makes it easy for the person to understand. Transferring the data from one database to the other database is the main function of ETL. It had been providing many benefits to the people. When once the data had been selected then it makes it easy for the person to execute or extract the data that is required. After extraction phase, the data moves into the transformation phase where the data is transmitted to some other database through simple steps.

The main purpose of the extraction of the data from the database is that the required and available data is being read in the system and after that the raw data that had been extracted is transformed into something new. In this data the data may be entered into tables in different rows and columns so that the loading of the data becomes easy and it can be easily understood by the person at the first stage. In the third phase that is the loading phase, the data is being written down into exact form in which it needs to be. The executed and the extracted data had been written down making it easy for the person to know about it.

When the data transfer had taken place, the database can be easily generated and the new name is given to it. After that the person had to make sure that the required data had allowed the person to transform the data into data warehouses and data marts where the data had to go though different steps and the database is easily ready. For the transmission of data into something new, needs to be passed through the process and the steps of ETL which are the extract, transform and load.
