File Exchange

The file exchange protocol enables us to copy the data files from one particular FTP server to the other FTP server while making use of an FXP client.  In this technique the FXP suspends the step of exchanging files from one FTP server to our local system and onward FTP server.

As the data transfer rate is based on the connection speed between the two servers only, so the data transfer speed will be dependent on our own internet connection speed. Normally the connection speed between the two servers is much more faster than our local internet speed.

It is to note that the users would be unable to monitor the standard FTP details in their client software because the FXP would be providing the direct connection between the two servers/hosts.
