Freeware

Freeware is the computer software that had been designed especially for the user so that they can get maximum benefit from the software. The software is made available to people for free which means that the software is found to be quite cost effective and hence the software also does not charge the user with any sort of other fee. The software is completely available for free and can be downloaded for the purpose of restricting the rights upon certain people. The restriction of the rights ensures that the software or some other system can’t be used by any other user rather than those who had been specified in it.

The software that is sold to the people is not mainly sold for the profit generation and if it is compared to a commercial software type then that software type is mainly used and sold among many people for the profit purpose. The software types that are somehow included in the freeware are the proprietary systems which would work as both internally and externally for the systems. This system had been generated as a result of a communication tool that was to be sold by a person named Andre Fluegelman who was with an aim of reducing the costs. So he wanted to sell it so that he could recover all his costs and later on it began to distribute among different networks which is now used for the sharing purpose.

Moreover in today’s world, this concept is not considered good as it does not exactly explain how the term freeware came into being and moreover it had also not been the proper work for free ware that had been conducted by Andrew. Different criteria had been set for the free ware. The first most criteria is that the software is of free cost and hence no license needs to exist for this purpose as other software’s does require the license factor.
