H. 225

H.225 is a very important ITU-T standard protocol that is used in H.323 VoIP.
H.225 guides us as to how video, audio, data and other information through a packet based network be controlled so as to render conversational service in H.323 systems.

H.225 comprises two main parts. These are Call Signaling and Registration Admission and Status (RAS).

This ITU-T standard is very useful for speech compression and decompression and being used since years as a well proven guiding parameters calling signaling and registration admission and status.
