Hardware
The term hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer. These are the objects which possess physical properties. Computer hardware includes the Display Screen, Disk Drives, Chips, Boards, Printers and Keyboard, Mouse etc. etc. On the other hand, software denotes to the ideas, symbols and concepts without any involvement of physical existence. For example, the books serve as a vial analogy. The pages as well as the ink can be termed as the hardware and the words, sentences and paragraphs including the broad meaning are software. Thus a computer machine in absence of proper software would be like a book full of blank pages. So we require software to make the compute useful in the same way like we need words to make a book really meaningful.
