Internet Protocol Television

The IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) follows the digital broadcast signal that is transmitted via a switched telephone or some other network (Cable Network) via broadband connection, along with a set top box conformed with the software which is capable of handling the viewer queries to develop link with the media source.

In this technique, a TV set is hooked up to the set top box which manages the work of decoding and IP video and transforms it into the standard TV signals. The SVS (Switched Video Service) enables the viewers to accessing the broadcast network channels, movies on demand and other subscribed services.
