LAN

LAN is the local area networks that allow the computer to be connected with the network within the specified and limited boundaries. The LAN connection can be used by the schools, universities, colleges and on a small scale level too. As the connection is used on a smaller level of organization so it had been found out that the speed of the connection is quite faster.

The network keeps the connection to be interrelated with each other and at the same time the networking capacity of the computer in the organization is enhanced. The data that needs to be transferred over the internet in the local area network connection is transferred at the higher rate as compared to the wireless internet connection and its usage. The local area network connection can be of different types but the major networking technology among LAN is the token ring and the Ethernet which is basically conducted n private basis. The private connection allows the communication and transfer of data within the organization and its departments.  in some of the situations people may also prefer to use the wireless LAN as well. This is the networking system where the LAN connection is used but the computer does not need to be connected to the modem with the help of the cable. The wireless local area network system is quite easy to use and is also cheaper to buy. The installation process of this network is also cheap and inexpensive.

Moreover in the LAN system, the processor or modem is single and all the other computers can be used with it. For the working of the LAN, the person must need to have a specified IP address so that the computer can be connected to it and at the same time the transfer of the signals are matter a lot.
