Markup language

Markup language is the form of language that had been developed for the purpose of processing the information that is represented as a text form. It not only processes but also defines and presents the text as well. Different types of codes had also been defined by the language and the markup language can also identify and edit the codes that had been developed which means that the formatting of the code is quite easily with the help of this language.  The formatting of the text includes all the aspects which are the style and the layout in which it had been written. The way of formatting the codes in the text are known as the gas which means that the text had been reshaped with the markup language.

Moreover HTML is one of the most popular examples of the markup language where the language had been explained in full detail. The markup language can also be worked in many different situations such as the communication industry where the publication of the texts, codes among different authors had taken place. This language is quite easy to understand. This is one of the best ways which is used by the users to easily differentiate among the texts and the codes. This idea of markup language had been used from a longer time period but many improvements had been made in it.

The language came into existence when the term markup was invented which meant that the tags which had been used on different manuscripts with blue color were manly used to identify that. After that in some situations the markup was not at all visible or displayed to the people at the user end. However the markup languages can be of different types out of which the most popular one are the descriptive markup, presentational markup languages and the procedural markup.
