Multiplexing
Multiplexing is the form of sending multiple signals through a device and then receiving nominal or separate signals at the end of the device by the user. The main function of this is to send multiple signals so that more of the information can be conveyed to the other person at the either end in less time and with les cost. The person on the opposite end can only receive the information in separate or one by one form as the signals would be recovered there in this way.
Multiplexing takes place in either analog or digital form where the information is sent over the signals. In digital form the information transmission takes place among the signals which are used with the help of the time division multiplexing, in which the information is sent through the same medium but it is received in different time period due to a lot of traffic being generated. However in analog form, the frequency form of multiplexing is send where the information is sent over the internet to the opposite person in the sub channels and is received at the same time in a complete form.
Multiplexing is found to be an expensive way of doing the work. Mainly it is functioning as a bandwidth for the signals. This sort of medium is used in telecommunications and other computer networks where the information is being sent to the user via the analog or digital multiple signals and all the information sent is combined in to one single form with the help of the medium which is shared by all the users. Multiplexing can be found in many different forms. The most famous sort of multiplexing that is being used is the Frequency-division multiplexing, space division multiplexing, Code-division multiplexing and lastly the Time-division multiplexing and wavelength division multiplexing is also of its form.
