Narrow casting
Narrow casting is a way of sending the information to the people but in a narrow form. This is found to be the dissemination of the information through which the information is made available to the users. The dissemination of information that is to be reached to the users is by the use of the radio and some other electronic form of devices which is the television. The information is to be sent to the audience but on narrow range as compared to the information that is provided to the end users of the entire general public.
Different sort of benefits had been made available to the users and for this it must be ensured by the user that the information is of different values, interests and preferences which is to be conveyed to the audience. On the other hand for narrow casting some of the other segments had also been targeted which are referred to as the specific segments which had been designed for the public. Narrow casting mainly takes place in the form of marketing where the audience is catered as niche marketing or the target market where the information needs to be conveyed to them at any cost. The information can be related to anything and for this sometimes the demographic information of the users can also be used.
It had been found out that narrow casting is such a process which is found to be based on the ideas which are considered to be greater in nature or are quite modern ideas and for this there is no need of a huge audience to exist at all. Moreover the information can be spread to the user either in the form of private or public but in both cases different benefits are provided to the users. On the whole at times, narrow casting is also used with multi casting as well.
