Network operating system
The network operating system is the system which is used to connect the computers and some other devices with the local area network so that the desired work can be achieved. This act is being carried out with the help of some special functions. The network operating systems are somehow found within the computers operating system. This system is sued to keep the network interrelated and interconnected with each other so that the same information is transferred to each and every department of the firm. In some situations the network operating system needs to be built in within the computer and hence is needs to be passed through the steps of the installation phase.
Some of the operating systems are LINUX, UNIX, and MACOS. These are operating systems which somehow have the networking systems built in them and hence do not need to get them installed for their further usage. On the other hand this system had been designed to gather information from one place to the other and at the same time this system can be used on the personal computers and some of the support to these systems is also provided by the workstations. When the networking facilities and services are added to the operating system then the system becomes the network operating system. The network operating system facilities must be the local area networking connections. Through networking operating system, certain types of files and folders, images and certain other items can also be exchanged and shared among different people.
Furthermore the data sharing information can also be shared with the help of the network operating system. Many of the operating systems are found to be used among different computers but the network operating system is one of the sorts of it. Sometimes the particular network operating system may or may not be supported by the windows.
