OLAP

OLAP is the online analytical processing which is a software tool which had been developed for the management of the data. This software is being used by many different companies as it makes the data management a simpler and an easier task. OLAP also works for the data analysis process too which is mainly contained in the database of the company. This also makes sure that the user is able to analyze the data in the smallest time with less cost and the data can be analyzed in many different ways thus making data analysis an easier task.

OLAP is not only used for the purpose of analyzing the data but it is also used for the purpose of data mining too which means that it also extracts some sort of data from the entire data base. The OLAP software thus makes a relationship with the software, client and the database itself. This had been one of the easiest ways for the users to interact with the data and thus the desired data can be easily extracted from the large range of database.

Multidimensional database is the place where the entire data is being placed. The working of the OLAP system can take place through many OLAP servers that had been developed and the servers are made available to the users so that they can easily analyze the data which is contained in it.  This is manly being referred to as the computing service which is sued among the internet at times and this can also be used to develop some sort of relational and operational activities too as it somehow deals with the business intelligence aspects. Sometimes an OLAP query also needs to be designed so that all the problems that can be encountered in the data transmission become easy and the user can handle them easily.
