QSIG is short of Q point of the ISDN model Signaling.
QSIG is a commonly used channel for signaling protocol bases on ISDN Q.931 standards and used by many digital PBXs.

QSIG is also applied for the establishment and release of calls. It is also used for the controlling a large volume of features.
