Random Access memory

Random access memory is the memory storage place that can be easily accessed to the people. Its easy access is the main feature which had made people to name it as the random access memory device. This device is built in the computer and at times the random access memory of the computer may not be working properly.

The RAM of the computer is the most important element which helps in the functioning of the computer properly and even at time the RAM of the computer can also be enhanced as well leading towards an increase in the efficiency and effectiveness of the computer. It is one of the best known memory devices that is used in the computer. The person can directly access all the data that is contained on the device and even the RAM of the computer can also be enhanced as well. It depend upon the person that how much data needs to be stored on RAM and whether RAM up gradation is needed or not.

However the access to the Random access memory is quite easy. Its access can take place in a situation when the person is aware of the rows and the columns of the memory that are in fact being intersecting by that particular cell of the row and the column. The random access memory is a sort of chip contains many circuits in it and the circuits had been used for storage and the access of the data and information contained in it. It had been found out that when the computer is turned off the data that had been stored in the random access memory is lost which shows that the random access memory is of short term nature. If the person wants to keep the data in the computer for a longer time period then it is better to install it on the hard disk.
