Raster Image
Raster images are the image which the person created on his own and are digital in nature. The raster images can be either created by the person or they may be captured from somewhere and then some techniques may be applied on them. Raster images are very much similar to bitmap images. The raster images mainly contain pixels in it which are shaped in a grid and when all the pixels are collected together an entire image or a picture is formed. Pixels are small dots which are very much helpful in the creation of a picture.
Raster image is very much helpful in finding out that which of the image needs to be given which color and how it would be associated to it. The images that had been created as a raster image can also be edited but it deletion would automatically result in the deletion of the document that had been created. If in the creation of raster image, some of the information had been lost then it would be difficult for the person to make or edit the image again. As compared to the vector image, the raster image is used by many people as it is larger in size and at the same time different types of software’s had also been developed which help the person to modify the raster image.
Furthermore sometimes this software can also be used to convert the vector image into a raster file and the conversion process takes place quite quickly so it is regarding as the fast file convertor. The scanning process is mainly used in the creation of the raster image. Until and unless the inputs such as the images, pictures etc are not there then the creation of the image would not be possible and as a result the output is not produced as accordingly.
