Ripping a CD is one of the simplest work that any person can do. Ripping a CD only involves the process of copying the music or some other file that may be audio or video in nature from the CD to some other file or folder on the computer. In some cases, ripping a CD can also be done through software which had also been developed for the ease of the people. This software is named as the FreeRIP which allows the user to get the CD ripped easily and simply.
The main function of the FreeRIP is that it converts all the files contained in the CD to the audio format and then transfers them to the computer. Apart from this CD ripping can also be done in another ay too. The other way is that when the user inserts the CD into the CD-ROM of the computer which as a result reads the CD. After the CD had been read a window is shown to the user on the desktop of the computer which contains many new features in it such as auto play, import images, play with real player, win amp or others. Meanwhile this window open up the user is displayed with a CD ripping option too which can either be seen on the second to further option of the widow.
If the user clicks that option then as a result all the contents such as the audios and videos are copied and then transferred to the computer on a particular location that had been selected by the user. It must be ensured that all files needs to be audio in nature and is there is any other format files, then that particular file is first of all converted by the computer on its own to the required format and then copied and transferred to the desired location.
