RTP

It is the short of the complete term “Real-Time Transport Protocol. It is the internet protocol used for transmitting the real-time data like video and audio. The RTP by itself is not capable to guarantee real-time transmittal of the data. However, it is capable to provide the desired system for sending as well as receiving applications while supporting the streaming data. Particularly, RTP is used on top of the UDP protocol yet the specification is generalized with a view to support many other transport protocols simultaneously.
