Split DNS

We can create two different zones for the same domain in a split DNS infrastructure. One can be used by internal network while the other one can be used by the external network.

Through the split DNS the external hosts are directed to an external domain name server for name resolution whereas the internal hosts are directed to an internal domain name server for name resolution.
