Types of USB connectors

USB connectors are used to connect the USB to the computer or to come other device, so in this case the USB connectors can be of different types and each of them can be used to perform different functions. Mainly for the purpose of data transfer USB cable are used and this had been an easy source of transferring data from one place to the other. However many sort of devices had been developed for the USB data transfer but the most important connecters that exist are the type A, mini, micro, type b and many other sort of connectors. All these connectors are used for the data transfer purpose and it is found out that the USB can be easily attached with it.

The mini connector for USB is a small size connector which had been used for the purpose of data transfer and this in fact is the combination of type a and type b connectors. The type a connectors is the one which can be easily connected to the computer and the USB and hence as a result data can be easily transferred.  It is somehow referred to be used as a standard form of USB connector.

On the other hand USB connector of type b is a bit enhanced form of type a connector. This is the connector that had been designed in the square form where six sides are being used in its making. This sort of connector is developed to be used with large scale device, as the USB port for large devices is different.  The micro USB had been designed to be used on a smaller scale where as another type of connector is the micro connector which is basically used to be connected to the mobile phones or some other small devices.
