URL

URL is the universal resource locator that is being used among different websites and hence is used on a worldwide basis. This is found to be the address of the particular website which needs to be opened by the person for a particular document or image. It must be made sure that both the resource name and the identifier are included in the URL address.

Mostly the first part of the URL is known as the protocol identified which identifies that the website which is to be opened is of correct address and the other half of the URL contains the resource name which in face is the name of the website which the person in fact is going to open. Moreover the resource name is identified with both the domain name and the IP address of the website which will make sure that the website can be viewed.  Each and every website had its own URL along with its IP address which in facts differentiates it from the other one. The URL address is basically entered in the address box of the web browser. 

If the website exists and would be of particular usage then it would be easily identified by the internet server. At time the Epson does enter the right website address but the website does not open which in turn ensures that the URL was not correct or it does not exist anymore. The URL had been come into existence through the efforts of the engineering people and its existence took place in 1994.  The domain name in the URL is basically the identifier of the website address and the IP address help in leading the website to the particular page. On the whole the universal resource locator is also referred to as the universal resource indicator too
