USB 2 is the universal serial Bus with version 2. This device works much more efficiently and effective as compared to the previous versions of the device. The device works at a faster speed. The device can be easily used on the computer but the main aim for the development is that the device can be used as an external source for the computer. The older version of USB device had not been much successful but this one had been used among many people. The device is much more convenient and feasible to use.

The information contained in USB can be transferred at a faster rate. The rate at which the USB 2.0 works is of about 480 Mbps. When the USB device was invented it was not able to work at this much faster rate but later with some inventions in it and with some innovation the device began to work at a speed which is faster than its earlier versions. These devices had allowed people to exchange their data at a faster rate so that each and everything is being carried out effectively. The USB 2.0 device is mainly being invented by some of the companies but the ones which play a major role in its invention are NEC, SiS, Intel, Ali, Philip, nVidia and others. These are the major manufacturers of the USB devices.

All the companies had been producing devices at a high speed so that people do not have to prolong their work. The device is portable in nature which means that it can be carried at any place easily and sometime its portability may become difficult for people too. All sorts of applications can be handled by the USB 2.0 device. However it had been found out that many wireless USB devices had also been created and they are also responsible for handling many different applications too
