VPIM

VPIM is actually the short for complete term “Voice Profile for Internet Mail”. It is technique to encode voice mail messages as data while enabling it to travel through the SMTP mail protocol over the IP networks. This method makes use of MIME for encoding messages in multiple segments. Afterwards these are decoded through VPIM-compliant voice mail system at the receiver’s end.
