What Is Application software

Computer system is a combination of physicals parts called hardware components and the non physical components called software program or instructions that are needed to control the hardware and these both are used to get the required results in the form of output that can be hard copy of soft copy. The instructions or software are of different types depending upon their use and functionality. A number of software are called application software due to their functionality. Application software has a very significant role in the use of computers.

Application software is intended to resolve a definite type of trouble like a business problem or related to science work or any other field of life. These software solutions or application software are developed by many different software companies according to the need of the user.  Application software can be designed to provide a complete software system for an organization or for a simple utility. This depends upon the problem that is to be solved.
There are diverse sorts of application software like multimedia software, business software, scientific software, organization software, text editors or data management software. These all are developed keeping in mind the needs of the user and the amount of work that will done on these application software.

Some time the software is not capable of processing very large data and at that point it crashes and the user can have a loss of data or waste of time. So it is also important for the user to select software that is correct and good enough for his or her needs. Now days many application software are present in the market and they all are in use because every user has their own requirements depending upon the extent of their use for a particular process for they which they need a software application.
