What Is Call Controller
Call controller is related to the communication of calls that can be either on the old phone lines or on the internet telephone that is very common now days. It can be easily understand by taking the example of an exchange that is responsible for making the bonds between dissimilar locations
Similarly call controller is a mechanism that controls all the events during a call and also some events before and after the call. Some features of call controller are call connection that makes the connection between two users. After the call is connected then it takes care of the transmission line that is being used in the process. As a single call passes through different networks. Call controller is liable for the passing of information to all the network gates and end points so that the signals are passed and decoded correctly until they reach the destination.
After the call gets connected and the path is established then it has to take care of the in call activities. If some other users wants to get connected to one of the users that is already than they will get a signal that will notify them that another call is waiting for them so they can hold their call and answer the waiting call or cancel the waiting call or even terminate the existing call and answer the waiting call. These all responsibilities are of call controller. It has to manage these activities.
It also enables the user to start multiple calls like a conference call and communicate to multiple people at single time. It also refreshes the both connections in one call after they have finished the call so that the new call can come in and will face no barrier. Otherwise if the system is not refreshed the other person will get the busy tone.
