What Is Hoot and holler

It is a kind of communication line that is almost free of any obstacles that are present in other communication lines. As an example of telephone we can see that if someone needs to make a call first he has to pick up the receiver then dial the number and then he or she has to wait for the call to be answered.  This all time waste has been reduced by a device or a system of communication called hoot holler.

It is a system that is free of dialing a number or waiting for the answer. You can just speak what you want it can be heard by everyone that is using the system or is connected to the network. It has many features that make it very useful like it can be used to talk to a single person or it can be used to make conference meetings in which more than two people can have conversation at a time. At one time only one person can speak or use the line so it can be used in turns.

It is a very old system that was invented in 1960 and since then it is very popular in organizations that have a need of very quick correspondence and a lot of communication activity is going on. So it is very cheap if compared to any other type of communication.  This system was previously used in smaller locations like a single building or a couple of buildings situated nearby. After the advent of internet telephone this system is also now available to the long ranges and different organizations are using it in long range communication which is giving them all the required services at a low cost. Still this system is not so popular for communication in the modern world but it is gaining attention slowly.
