What Is Virus

Computer system has been designed by the combination of hardware and software components. Software components are called programs that are actually instructions written in a form that can be used to get desired results or can be used to make a process happen.  Similarly there are also some programs or instructions that can be used to disturb the functionality of the computer system. These programs or instruction that are not good for the computer system and can cause to damage to your computer system is virus.

This term has been used in its original context as it is like the original virus that has the capability to transfer itself from one location to another and it defects that area where it is present. In computer system virus in defined as an unwanted program that has the ability to get into some computer file and hide there until it is used and then it gets to the other file and transfers itself to that place and then start to damage the system in which it has gone into.

There are different types of viruses depending upon their nature of destruction. Some of them attack the hardware of the system. Some attack the data of the system and make it corrupt or even delete it. Some of them may remain there and do nothing to your system except recording all the activities of your system and transferring them somewhere else. Some might overload the system make the processing of your system very slow even they can make the system to completely stop working until the it is completely removed. Virus can come into a system by many different ways if a computer system is connected to internet and the browsing is done without monitoring the risk that is involved then the virus might invade your system.
