What Is Vishing

The term vishing can be explained as using the phone line to commit a fraud by involving a user into some activity by which he has to tell about his private information and then that information is used to get financial benefits.
This activity has become very common since internet telephone has become a common mode of communication. It is easy to get connected to different users as internet allows you to connect to any one that is also using internet through some sort of interface.

The people who commit this fraud activity have special skills that they use to establish link with different users and then they attract the users by telling them about some sort of benefits that they will give to that user if he selects of enters in their campaign. As this is very common now days and these types of activities are always going on everywhere so the user gets attracted to it and then he or she is convinced to tell about their some personal data like complete name home address their credit card number so that they can get the chance to have the benefits.

When they get enough information and they have gained the trust of user they ask them to transfer some amount in their account as security fee that will be returned if they do not win or get the chance to avail those faculties. Even some cases have been reported that after the user has entered the credit card number there credit card was hacked and a lot of transactions were made.
This has caused a lot loss to many people and still people have no idea that who is doing this or how this is done. This happens due to the negligence of the user themselves as he or she gets into the whole situation very quickly.
