XML

XML is the short for complete term “Extensible Markup Language”. It is a W3C specification. XML is a pared-down version of the SGML which is especially designed for the Web documents. It has enabled the designers to create their own customized tags, enabling the definition, validation, transmission and interpretation of the data between applications and between the enterprises.
