adding a preferred airport network

by adding a preferred network to your list by using an airport card you can connect to the net faster. This article will show you how.

• First of all turn on the Airport wireless card (go to the Airport icon in top menu bar and selecting "Turn Airport On.").

• Then open up system preferences, and choose ‘network’ beneath the ‘internet and network’ division. Form there choose "Airport" in the list of available network connections and select ‘advanced’.

• Next  select airport tab from the pop up and select + sign in "Preferred Networks" list. Enter the name, security type and password of the network you wish to save.

• Now select add to save it.

• Drag and drop into your list, all of your preferred networks. Airport will try to connect to them one by one.
