Beginner geek: add a new user account in window 7
Suppose if you are a home user want to move from XP to windows 7, then he might have to create new users accounts for every household members. As the interface that is designed in windows 7 little bit different than XP, thus now we over look at user accounts in the new operating system.
Add New User
So, here is the method of adding new user account, open Control Panel and then click on the User Accounts and Family Safety click on “Add or remove user accounts”.
Now click on “Create a new account” a text box will open. Write the name of user and then select the type of account that you want. You must have to create them a Standard user account so that they cannot make changes to you any system setting.
After go through all above procedure then restart you computer and then you will see a new account. So, it is obvious that whose account is. He must have a password so if the password is match then he accesses the system.
An Administrator makes any important changes in system but the standard use cannot do this.
Types of User Accounts
As we know that the user accounts provide the facility to user to control over the computer. Hence, there are three types of user accounts. 1) First one is Administrator – The Admin accounts can any changes in system. 2) Second is typical – Standard users cannot make any important change like install software, delete files. If a user using standard account then to make changes in system he needs administrative password. 3) Third is Guest – Guest account mean have temporary access to computer.
User Account Tips
Suppose any administrative installing a software in system then he must has to select if he wants to access that software for all users or for him only. Remember it that if administrative shut down the system and another user is still log in, then he probably loss his data that not saved. All above tips may help an user to create and confirmation accounts.
