Add Encrypt / Decrypt Options to Windows 7 / Vista Right-Click Menu
Adding encrypts or decrypt options can be easily used in windows vista or windows 7. This is only possible by a right click. This is basically for those people who use file encryption in windows 7 or vista. Through the addition of encryption, the users can easily encrypt the file rather than entering into the properties of the files, by right clicking onto that file. This entire step can be added by the use of a registry key. In this case, the use had to download the registry hack.
After the downloading phase, the use is asked to extract the files and then the program or file can easily run. On the other hand, the user had to open the search engine in the start up menu and there the user had to write a key which is known as “regedit.exe” after the opening of the registry editor, the user had to write a long registry key, which will be helpful in encryption or decryption of a file.
The next step is to add a new folder with the name of 32 bit DWORD and the value one is to be assigned to it. This value is to be written in the data column against the encryption context menu. This is the name that is given to the new registry key. After the creation of this key word, the user can now see the encrypt option, when right click is done on any file. From there, the user can now encrypt the file and when the file had been encrypted after that the user can also decrypt the file too.
When the user clicks the encryption option, a message will be seen by the user on the window. The message is regarding the encryption of the entire folder or only the file and now it depends upon the person that what he/she wants to do. After the encryption process is complete, the name of the file will turn green which will ensure that the file had been encrypted.
