Change the Registered Owner in Windows

Making the things work our way makes us feel good .Our today`s topic is related to the changing the registered owner name in windows. We might have seen that when we buy our new PC or re-install a new window from anywhere our windows is registered to someone else name sometimes it annoys us that it`s my PC why is there someone else name on it and sometimes we ignore it. We might not be familiar with it before but after reading this article we can surely change the name of our windows.

For this purpose Open up regedit.exe through the start menu search box, and then locate the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersion

After doing that you can find the Registered Owner and Registered Organization keys in the right-hand pane. Change them to whatever values you want.

To show off the new changes, just type winver.exe into the start menu search box to see the About Windows box.

This is kind of a useless thing but a useful thing to know and it can also be counted as a trick as well.As we knowledge is power so its good to get as much as we can.
