Create a Custom Boot Logo for Windows Vista

In order to create a custom boot logo for windows vista, there is a process which can be followed by the users. This process id highly recommended and adopted by large number of users. Firstly, user has to install vista boot logo generator 1.1 utility. This installation will help the user to produce exact and accurate boot logo. User has to run this particular application by acting as a supervisor.

One thing should be kept in mind that all the users should select the very suitable and proper boot logo file. The file that is going to be selected, user has to pick out two versions of the image from that file. One should be of size 800×600 at 24 bit color and the other one having the size of 1024×768 with similar color intensity. The lay out of both the files will be in the Bit map design. Until and unless, the user does not take the full command of both the files, he has to store on the desktop.

In order to take the full possession of both the files, user has to go through a command line process. Firstly, in the start menu, user has to type cmd and then enter the combination of Ctrl+Shift+Enter keys. This step will open the administrator command prompt.  Then user has to browse to this key: takeown /f C:WindowsSystem32en-USwinload.exe.mui.

After wards, the user is also going to run the following command line to give username to the file: cacls C:WindowsSystem32en-USwinload.exe.mui /G geek:F. after browsing, user has to copy that file which is stored in the desktop. Finally, the user has to make use of the msconfig utility and then pick out the option Boot Tab. Selecting “No GUI boot” option will reboot the system and immediately create a custom boot logo for windows.
