Create shortcut key or hot key to safely remove hardware dialogue
As there are many different icons in the taskbar that represent different applications working. If you have to remove the USB drive you will have to click on the icon of the USB and then click the dialogue box. It is al little longer procedure and the icon is also very small it makes a little difficult to unplug the USB. It is far easier to have shortcut key for this purpose.
Create a Shortcut to the Safely Remove Hardware Dialog
Right-click on the desktop and then choose the option of New or the option of Shortcut:
In the command box type the following key as it is keeping in view the syntax should be correct:
RunDll32.exe shell32.dll, Control_RunDLL hotplug.dll After that assign it a name and an icon will appear in front of you. That will make the way for the shortcut key.
Assign a Shortcut Key
Open the properties of the icon assign a logical shortcut key to complete the process. The key should be such that it can be remembered easily and also used easily. After assigning the shortcut key to the icon place the icon in the start menu or keep it on the desktop, so that it may work properly and efficiently. If you place it other than these places it will not respond to your command and as a result you will not get the desired output. Also o not place it in the quick launch bar. It will also not work over there.
