Enable Military Time in Windows 7 or Vista

In this article we will discuss about some of the features of the windows seven and windows vista. The feature is about the military time in the windows seven or vista, but the actual problem is in the enabling of the military time, military time is enabled by following some simple steps. But these simple steps are not very common among the users.

To enable the military time, you just have to open the control panel and select the regional and language setting options screen, but the shortcut method to open this screen, just type region in the search box of the control panel and hit enter. When you are entered into the regional and language option, select the “customize this format” and then select the time tab. Then change the format using the drop down menu. You will see that the capital letter “H” means the 24 hour time and the small letter shows that it won’t display the leading zero of the format.

It is quite easier in the windows seven to enable the military time. Just open the control panel and type “region” in the search box of the control panel, from the regional and language setting select the format tab and then with the help of drop down menu set the military time as required by the perfect and suitable option. In the drop down menu, the required format for the military time is showed with the help of an example. By following these simple steps while using the windows seven or windows vista, one can be able to enable the military time.

There is another shortcut method to open the control panel, just type intl.cpl in the start menu and hit enter.
