Finding Registry Keys the Easy Way in Vista or XP

Method 1:

When you pay for a software and get its key be very careful that you do not misplace it. But in case if you have ever misplaced a product key for a piece of software that you have legally paid for, than you can use the software called “Win Key Finder”. It is small downloadable software and once you have downloaded it is very easy to run no problem in using it. It is user friendly. Just run the “Win Key Finder” and it gives you the required product key that you are searching for your product key.
The “Win key finder” software is so well developed that it ca also find the keys for other versions of windows like XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98 and other versions.
It often happens that the product keys are programmed in the registry of the system and cannot be retrieved easily without using software.

Note: the user of Windows Vista and Windows 7 do not worry because it also works with it vary efficiently

Method 2:

Open the run box then type the phrase “regdit” and press enter to execute.
By doing this you will enter the Registry of the system.

How do you search for a registry entry?

Once the registry is opened just highlight the icon of “My Computer” by one left click.
Press CTRL+F and then a search box will appear.
After typing the respective missing key you press next and then it will start extracting the files from the registry to find the key.
If the source that you have written is too long it will not give any result. So try to give a short path for the product you want to find the key.
It is an other way to find the key but a little lengthy.
