Hide the Recycle Bin Icon Text on Windows Vista
It has now become highly annoying for the users that they need to get rid from their desktop icon text. Most of the icons in windows vista is clear and understandable and they do not any kind of explanation and details. In fact the details and description written beneath them does not make a good impression and gives an unattractive picture to the users.
It is quite clear and evident from the icon of recycle bin that what kind of function and role it performs. The text written beneath the icon is of no use and is completely needless. So to remove this text from the icon, a simple registry patch is going to be done and the recycle bin icon will be free from the text or any other kind of details.
In order to hide the recycle bin icon text on windows vista user just has to carry a simple procedure. Firstly, he has to install the registry patch. After opening the downloaded file, user has to double-click on it. Right after the clicking, user will receive a bunch of UAC prompts and will be asking from the user that whether they want to carry out this step or not. When the user is going to respond to these UAC prompts that he / she wants to carry out this action then the patch is going to be added on the desktop. Finally, user has to right click on the desktop and go for the option Refresh. Result will be instant and user will see that a new Recycle Bin icon appear on the screen which is exclusive of the text.
Suppose the user wants the recycle bin icon to come up wit the text. He / she have to download the registry patch, open the file and double click on it. This action will bring the icon with the text.
