How to Delete a Windows Service in Windows 7, Vista or XP
There are many services in the windows vista and windows 7 which are very helpful for the users of that software. But sometimes some of the applications create problems and will not be deleted by the simple method. Like selecting the file and then pressing the delete key from the board or deleting by the options.
There is another efficient way to delete the file but it is not recommended because by this procedure user can lost that file for ever. But sometimes it is necessary so it depends on the situation whether user use this procedure or use the simple procedure to delete that.
Step of deleting the windows service in windows vista and in windows 7:
First go to the services folder by the dialog box which is situated in the startup menu or by the folder. Then the crucial step is that user has to identify the name of the service which he or she wants to delete. If the wrong service is selected user have to pay a lot of pain in future. After select the file (service) double click on it by the mouse and then setting windows of the service will be open. You can see the name of the service is written over there select the name by pressing the shift and scroll the arrow key over it or by the mouse then copy the name of the service you want to delete.
Then go back to the startup menu and open up the dialog box again. And write the command “sc delete servicename” if the service name has the space with it then write the command like this “sc delete “servicename”” means that you should quoted the service name in quotes. The enter computer will automatically delete the file. Press f5 to refresh the list of the services.
