How to Enable Check Boxes for Items in Windows 7

As we all know that though the use of keyboard keys, we can select items, files or folders. If the user holds down the “Shift” key then he can choose large number files or folders. And if the user holds down the “Ctrl” key then he is able to select wide range of particular items.

In order to enable check boxes for the items in windows 7, there is a simple process. Firstly, user has to click on the Start button and then in the search box or run box should type the name of the folder and press enter. In the second step, user has to choose the View tab by going through the Folder Options window. By rolling down the mouse in the Advanced Settings, user should mark or check the box named by Use check boxes to select items. After this, he / she pick up the option Apply and clicks on the OK button. After crossing all these steps, user will notice that the small check boxes will start appearing on each and every item that the user wants to choose. Simply user just has to put a mark in the particular box they want to select.

User will also observe that under the menu bar, there exist also tiny boxes that also choose and pick out the files and folders and works quite efficiently. There is also another facility for the users that they can they can also check files, folders, icons and other programs on the desktop and can effortlessly shift them from one spot to another spot.
