Windows update feature is developed in windows 7 by the maker after the long way of windows XP. The windows 7 have very strong features and very strong GUI (Graphical User Interface). The updated feature add one more star which make the windows 7 great as compare to the others.

Steps of updating the windows:

Go to the start menu and write the “window update” in the menu box. In the update window the user can easy see the last update which his or her window 7 has done recently. In this window the update feature will tell the amount of the last updated programs and gives the feature to install them on the machine to run in future. It will also tell the name of last updated program and the status of that program.

Now click on the install update button, it will take the user to the other windows. Here this window will tell the user that updates are in progress and it will take some time and the machine will automatically restart if needed. If user clicks on the “more information” button then it will generate the detailed report of the updating software. It the detail report there is the executive summary and the detail of the feature of that program. After installing machine may ask the user to restart the machine but user can do adjustment that remind after the specific time and the specific time will be 1 hour or some minutes may be.
