How to rearrange favorites in Windows Vista

When you open internet explorer with vista your favorites are located on the left side of the toolbar in the window. They are represented by a yellow star. This is also known as your Favorites Center.

• The first step is to determine which websites you want to add to your favorites. Next you should know how you want to organize them. You should decide whether you want your f favorites as a link or where to add it. You can create a new folder to file the site by clicking on New Folder. Like if you are checking out CNN you can create a folder named NEWS and you can add all news related links to the contents of this folder.

• Windows Vista has an automatic feature embedded in it which asks you before you delete a folder or file. This feature prevents you from accidently deleting important data.

• There are numerous ways of organizing websites almost everyone does it differently. There is no specific order you need to follow just do what you are comfortable with.
